All 4 Seasons
THE
PROGRAMS
From spring cleanup blitzes to winter impact reviews, every season has a program. Choose one β or all four. Each is designed so you can join with no experience and leave with real skills, new friends, and a visible impact on your local environment.

Spring is when momentum builds. Communities hit rivers, trails, parks, and urban green corridors for coordinated cleanup blitzes before the warm season kicks in. Spring Surge is high-energy, team-based, and designed for groups who want to see immediate, tangible results.
- Guided trail and riverbank cleanup protocols
- Team-based challenge cards for schools and clubs
- Before/after impact documentation tools
- Spring species watch logs for local biodiversity
- Group recognition certificates

AUTUMN RALLY
As summer fades, Autumn Rally shifts focus from cleanup to restoration. This is the planting season β native species, hedgerow repair, and urban green-space rehabilitation. Teams work to actively improve habitats, not just remove litter. It's Salty Zebra's most skilled program, with workshops on planting technique and habitat assessment.
- Native plant species propagation and planting
- Habitat assessment workshops
- Hedgerow and riparian zone restoration
- Urban green space transformation projects
- End-of-season community harvest celebration events
WINTER WATCH
Measure the mission

Full year impact documented and published
Team Size
Open community events
Winter Program
WINTER WATCH
Winter is the reflective season. Winter Watch is about measuring and sharing the year's impact, monitoring wildlife and habitat changes, and building the community connections that sustain action through the colder months. Think storytelling, data analysis, planning sessions, and wildlife watch walks.
- Annual impact report compilation and publishing
- Winter wildlife monitoring and bird counts
- Community impact story collection and sharing
- Next-year program planning workshops
- Indoor skills workshops: ID guides, mapping, data skills
